If you find yourself struggling to accept these proposals as fair and equitable and the most likely solution to make for a better world, it’s worth asking yourself the following questions:
- Have I completely understood the concept or proposal? (If not, the failure is likely mine)
- Am I benefitting from current inequality? (At the global level everyone in the UK is)
- What do I fear losing? (I hope to show that whatever may be lost will be outweighed by gain)
- Am I suffering from recognised or hidden predjudice? (Given the hate messages of today’s media it takes great effort to not be)
